Ingredients:
1 cup water
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (unsweetened coconut milk works too)
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
1/4 tsp vanilla extract (raw vanilla bean powder works too)
1 - 2 tsp monk fruit sweetener *
1/2 tbsp cacao butter
Optional toppings:
1 - 2 tsp shaved dairy free, sugar free chocolate (I highly recommend Giddy Yo)
1 - 2 tbsp coconut whip from Cha's Organics
Instructions:
Boil the water with a kettle.
Then add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender.
Blend for 1 - 2 minutes, or until the butter melts.
Pour into mug of choice. Add toppings and enjoy!
Notes:
You can use stevia powder or liquid as a substitute for monk fruit sweetener.
Turn it into a peppermint mocha by adding 1 - 2 shots of organic espresso.
